Dayton's Lori Radtke will compete in the International Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness Capital City Natural Bodybuilding Championships in Sacramento.
The INBF event will be held Saturday, July 20. Radtke said she chose to participate in bodybuilding because she is an avid wrestling fan and admired what several women on that field has accomplished. Radtke said she needed a personal goal and decided that bodybuilding was an area in which she could compete with other women her own age.
Radtke has been training under the supervision of Rick Mitchell at Silver State Fitness and Rehabilitation in Carson City for more than a year. Radtke is being sponsored in the upcoming event by Carson City's Radtke Tile and Marble Co.
