The following people were taken into custody by the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Genero Becarfra-Suarez, 19, of Sacramento, unemployed, was arrested at 9 p.m. Thursday at the Carson City jail on a warrant out of Sparks for the investigation of burglary, petty larceny, obstructing a peace officer and tampering with a vehicle. Bail was set at $33,000.


-- Ross M. Duarte, 53, of Carson City, disabled, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Friday at Carson Street and Robinson Street for the investigation of third-offense DUI, diving without a valid license and unlawful acts of financial responsibility. Bail was set at $10,000.


-- Curtis Lee Peterson, 34, of Carson City, a laborer, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. Friday in the 2700 block of Lovelace on a felony warrant out of Sixth District Court in Pershing County and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $11,105.


-- A 47-year-old transient male was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Friday at Highway 50 and Graves Lane for the investigation of first-offense DUI and being a Nevada resident with a non-Nevada registration and driver's license. Bail was set at $1,225.


--A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Rand Avenue for the investigation of domestic battery and a probation violation. Bail was set at $6,105.


-- A 29-year-old Carson City machine technician was arrested at 1:54 p.m. Friday at Highway 50 and Lompa Lane for the investigation of second-offense DUI, speeding, no proof of insurance and driving with a suspended license. Bail was set at $3,995.


Deputies responded to the following calls Thursday.


-- Two vehicle damage reports, one ending in a misdemeanor arrest.


-- Two larceny reports.


-- One commercial burglary report.


-- One property damage report.


-- One residential burglary report.


-- One missing person report.
