The following people were taken into custody by the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Heather Edwards, 28, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested at 1:31 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Stanford Drive for the investigation of possession of methamphetamine and interfering with or obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $2,605.


-- A 26-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 7:45 p.m. Monday at the Carson City jail for the investigation of violation of a temporary restraining order. Bail was set at $2,000.


-- A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street for the investigation of assault and battery. Bail was set at $1,710.


-- A 26-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 8 p.m. Monday at the Carson City jail for the investigation of violation of a temporary restraining order. Bail was set at $2,000.


-- A 70-year-old Fallon man was arrested at 10:57 p.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of North Carson Street for the investigation of trespassing and violent interference with a police officer. Bail was set at $1,315.


-- A 37-year-old Reno meat cutter was arrested at 7 p.m. Monday on Highway 395 in Carson City for the investigation of first-offense DUI, child abuse/neglect/endangerment, failing to drive within marked lanes, driving with a suspended license and a probation violation. He is being held without bail.


Deputies responded to the following calls Monday.


-- Two accident with injury reports.


-- One commercial burglary report.


-- One domestic battery report ending in felony arrest.


-- Two grand larceny reports.


-- Two battery reports.


-- One embezzlement report.


-- One fraud report.


-- One property damage report.


-- One controlled substance report ending in misdemeanor arrest.
