The following people were taken into custody by the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Veronica R. Archuleta, 18, of Carson City, a discount store supervisor, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday at William and Rand streets for the investigation of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail was set at $2,605.


-- Rodney Steven Michel, 29, of Carson City, a masonry worker, was arrested at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Lyon County Jail for the investigation of contempt of court, failure to appear. Bail was set at $40,000.


-- Kenneth George Serchio, 38, of Carson City, no occupation given, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 1900 block of North Carson Street on a warrant out of East Fork Justice Court in Douglas County for the investigation of grand larceny of a vehicle. Bail was set at $15,000.


-- A 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday on Lepire Hill for the investigation of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant out of Carson City Municipal Court for failure to comply. Bail was set at $2,310.


-- A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 3:26 a.m. Wednesday in the 3000 block of Highway 50 East for the investigation of second-offense DUI, speeding and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $3,310.


-- A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Carson City Sheriff's Office on warrants out of Carson City Justice Court for the investigation of discharging firearms and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $1,100.


-- A 22-year-old Carson City painter was arrested at 8:12 p.m. Tuesday at Fifth and Roop streets on a warrant out of Dayton Justice Court for the investigation of issuance of no-account checks. Bail was set at $1,000.

-- One hit-and-run accident report.
