The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.


-- Lori Ann Goolsby, 39, of Carson City, no occupation noted, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Thursday at Fall and Lee streets for investigation of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $5,415.


-- David Paul Lane, 45, of Carson City, a shipping clerk, was arrested at 9:13 a.m. Thursday in the 4200 block of South Carson Street for investigation of commercial burglary and obtaining money by false pretenses. Lane was allegedly using receipts to get cash refunds and merchandise. Bail was set at $45,000.


-- A 38-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 10:16 p.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive for investigation of domestic battery and destruction of property. Bail was set at $3,710.


-- A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:23 p.m. Thursday at Carson Street and Rhoades Road for investigation of first-offense driving under the influence, speeding, failing to obey traffic signals and no driver's license in his possession. Bail was set at $1,285.


-- An 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Carson City Sheriff's Department for the investigation of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.




Sheriff's deputies responded to the following calls Thursday.


-- Two domestic battery reports, one ending in a misdemeanor arrest.


-- One vehicle theft report.


-- Four fraud reports, one ending in felony arrest.


-- One fight report.


-- Two vehicle burglary reports.


-- One larceny report.


-- Two vehicle injury reports.


-- One residential burglary report.


-- One property damage report.


-- One grand larceny report.


-- One controlled substance report.
