Silver State volleyball teams in tourney

The Silver State Volleyball Club will have two teams competing today in a tournament at North Valleys High.

Silver State's 15 and under gold team and 16 and under silver club will compete in the tournament, which begins at 8:30 a.m. The teams will compete in the 16 and under division.

Two weeks ago in a tournament at North Valleys in the 16 and under division, Silver State's 15 gold team won the title while the 16 silver team placed third.

Competing for the 15 gold team are: Bethany Ellis, Colleen Etcheverria, Tina Hordzwick, Sydney Colvin, Jackie Marino, Andie Bouwerhaerts, Melanie Norvell and Lindsey Kern.

Competing for the 16 and under team are Whitney Knott, Natalie Arneson, Laura Glenn, Stephanie Hatcher, Jordan Stordivant, Brianna Wilson, Jessica Parra, Jesse Bunch and Andrea Miller.
