Memorial services for Dennis James Mercer, 60, a Carson City resident for 29 years, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Smith Valley Funeral Home.
Mr. Mercer died May 16, 2002 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
He was born Oct. 22, 1941, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Claude James "Joe" and Anna May Miller Mercer.
Mr. Mercer was raised in Fallon and attended local schools.
He was a retired design engineer for the Nevada Department of Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; a son and a daughter Robert and Roni Mercer, twins: and son Joe and daughter Shannon Moyle all of Carson City; a sister Dianna Mercer Cline of Fallon and five grandchildren.
Cremation will be by the Smith Family Funeral Home.
An inurnment and committal service will follow the memorial at the Churchill Public Cemetery.
