Parsons, Bixby medal on World Senior Games

Two local women were medalists at the recently held World Senior Games in St. George, Utah.

Dayton's Susan Parsons, 57, and Carson City's Janet Bixby, 53, were medalists in the event, which features athletes ages 50-96 from the United States and dozens of countries throughout the world. Parsons and Bixby both won a bronze medal in softball in the 50 minors division.
