Paws in the Park, a fund-raiser for the Capital City Humane Society planned for this morning, has been postponed because of inclement weather, organizers said Friday.
The 5K run and two-mile walk with runners accompanied by their pets was scheduled to start at 10 a.m. at Riverview Park, but will be scheduled at a later date, said Isabel R. Young, Humane Society president.
She said the society board of directors decided to postpone the fund-raiser after heavy rain drenched the Carson City area.
