A graveside service for David Charles Yeoman, 65, a Fallon resident, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fallon Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow at the Elks Lodge in Fallon.
Mr. Yeoman died Nov. 6, 2002, at his home of cancer. He was born Dec. 26, 1936, in Fallon, to David Marice and Elenor Northern Yeoman.
He graduated from Churchill High School.
Mr. Yeoman became an engineer and worked as a plant superintendent for many companies including Nevada Paving, Granite Construction and Frehner Construction. He was a member of the Operating Engineers for 45 years and a member of the American Legion.
He served in the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry and sister Donna Wadey.
Among his survivors are his wife of 46 years Delowa Horsley; son David; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Steve Pontes; daughter and son-in-law Kimberly Erma'Lee and John DeMartin; sister Susan Brown; brothers Richard and Jimmy; grandchildren Linsey, Jessi, Johnathon, Justin, Tyson, Megan, Devin and Derek and great-grandson Anthony.
