FALLON -- Three people were killed in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 95 in Churchill County.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said a car driven by a Fallon man on Union Lane near Fallon failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a car on the highway driven by a Reno man.
Both drivers and a passenger were killed. Their names were not immediately released.
Troopers said it was uncertain whether alcohol was a factor in Saturday's accident.
Seat belts were worn by both victims in one of the cars, but not by the other victim, troopers added.
An investigation continues into the cause of the accident.
