The following men and women were booked into Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.


-- A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday at the 600 block of East Robinson on suspicion of failing to register as an felon while officers investigated a burglary case at the location.


-- A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at Fall and William streets at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday on suspicion of domestic battery and a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and being a drunken pedestrian after officers witnessed a woman pushing a man during an argument.


-- A 43-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at the 100 block of South Harbin Street on suspicion of defrauding a taxi after officers responded to a distress call from a driver who said a woman refused to pay $3.80 in charges.


-- A 25-year-old man was arrested at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the 2100 block of East Highway 50 on suspicion of shoplifting after a store clerk reported a man took a package of safety pins without paying for them.


-- Michael Edward Herrod, 25, of Carson City was arrested at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday at the 500 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of being an felon in possession of a firearm, failing to register as an felon, obstructing justice and failing to appear for a traffic violation following an investigation of fraud at the location.
