Obituary for Richard M. Churches

Graveside services are planned for 11 a.m. Monday at the Virginia City Cemetery for Richard M. Churches, 55, who died Nov. 24, 2002, in Carson City.

He was born April 26, 1947, in Los Angeles. He had lived in Virginia City since 1977.

He was life member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed riding his horses, motorcycles and collecting and restoring guns.

His survivors include his wife, Susan Churches of Virginia City; sons Rick Churches of Sutter Creek and Joshua Tucker of Reno; daughters Kimberlee Reid of Elko, Frankie Raitt of Nashua, N.H., and Cathy Churches of Los Angeles; sister, Sharon Schrader of Port Orchard, Wash; and five grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is handling arrangements.
