The splendid lithographic work which Palmer puts on dead walls is almost as good as the play. On Monday night, the "Lights o' London" will be given. It is a play bursting with sensational incidents and full of pathos, tears, laughter and stage effects.

100 YEARS AGO

Douglas Doings. Chas. Labourde, who was arrested on Tuesday for flourishing a six-shooter and threatening to let daylight through several parties in town, was brought up before Justice Ezell and pled guilty and was fined $35 and costs. All from an over indulgence in leftover campaign red eye.

70 YEARS AGO

Body of an unidentified man lies in the Capitol Mortuary here, killed last night as he was attempting to rob the hotel at Walley's Hot Springs, near Genoa. He pulled the fuses for the hotel, and when Herman Springmeyer went out, tied him up. Later Springmeyer got loose and got a pistol and flashlight from his car. He was surprised going upstairs, but fired, killing the robber.

50 YEARS AGO

Boy Scout Camp at Blue Lake has been officially named as a permanent camp for the council, as Silver Lake was destroyed by snow. It is to be named for Max Fleischmann.

20 YEARS AGO

Genoa residents are busy decorating for the annual Christmas Faire Dec. 4. it is headed by the Genoa Recreation Committee with chairman Sharon Riley and Diane Holton, chairman of the Genoa Recreation Committee.

10 YEARS AGO

Sheriff's Department has announced the graduation of three deputies from the Nevada Law Enforcement Training Center in Carson City. They are Dan Chaney, Dean Higman and Ken Sandage. It is a 528-hour course on all fields.
