The following men and woman were booked into Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court.




-- A 22-year-old Carson City hospital employee was arrested on suspicion of trespassing shortly after 1:30 a.m. Thursday at Bully's Sports Bar, 3530 N. Carson St.. A bartender had asked him to leave, but the man refused, even after police told him to depart. Bail was $210.


-- A 26-year-old Carson City installer was arrested on suspicion of battery after allegedly striking a security guard who told him to leave Red's Old 395 Grill, 1055 S. Carson St., shortly after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. Bail was $1,105.


-- A 31-year-old Carson City shop worker was arrested on suspicion of battery after she allegedly struck a man in the head in a dispute over money for gasoline near the Silver Dollar Casino, 1897 N. Edmunds Drive,about 5 a.m. Thursday. Bail was $1,105.


-- A 21-year-old Carson city laborer was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of carrying an invalid driver's license after failing to drive within one lane. A deputy had cited him earlier in the day, but found him driving again on Silver Sage Drive. Bail was $160.


-- A 50-year-old Carson City man was arrested for driving under the influence on the 400 block of North Carson Street after a fender-bender at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday. Bail was $1,185.


-- Sheriff's deputies served a failure-to-appear warrant on Juan Luna-Ortiz, 27, of Carson City after he attempted to flee from the 800 block of East Musser Street about 9 a.m. Wednesday. He also was booked on suspicion of failing to register as a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
