Nevada Day Clues

Here are the clues to the Nevada Day Treasure Hunt so far:

1. I wish I may I wish I might receive One Thousand to my delight

2. In 1883 two became one. Now the hunt has begun

3. A division of state split by water. Are you on the trail, are you getting hotter?

4. A native captain might ring a bell. If it does, you're doing well.

The third annual Nevada Day Treasure Hunt, sponsored by the Nevada Appeal, offers a prize of $1,000 to the person who finds a 3-by-3 inch acrylic square with the Treasure Hunt message. It can be found somewhere on public property in Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, Storey or Washoe counties. It is not buried, and no structures need be disturbed or climbed to find it.

Clues appear Monday through Friday in the Nevada Appeal.
