The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- A 39-year-old collector from Carson City was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Airport and Nye roads on misdemeanor suspicion of basic speed violation and first offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,160.


-- A 20-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road on misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,105.


-- David Michael Grimes, a 22-year-old Carson City forklift operator, was arrested at 5:22 p.m. Friday in the 3900 block of North Carson Street on gross misdemeanor suspicion of child endangerment and misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense domestic battery and threats. Bail was set at $28,710.


-- A 50-year-old assembler from Carson City was arrested at 8:58 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of East College Parkway on misdemeanor suspicion of making an illegal left turn and first offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,185.


-- Michael Stowell, a 26-year-old, unemployed Carson City man, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of North Carson Street on felony suspicion of credit card fraud. Bail was set at $7,500.


-- Linas Ploplys, a 46-year-old, unemployed Carson City man, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Friday on the corner of Eighth and Nevada streets on felony suspicion of third-offense driving under the influence and misdemeanor suspicion of driving on a revoked license. Bail was set at $10,605.
