The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- A 25-year-old South Lake Tahoe cook was arrested at 2:27 a.m. Saturday on the corner of South Carson Street and Koontz Lane on misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence and missing required headlamps. Bail was set at $1,199.


-- A 33-year-old Carson City carpenter was arrested at 9 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Grant Street on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense domestic battery and a two warrants for failure to appear -- one out of Carson, one out of Douglas. A cash-only bail was set at $3,806.


-- A Hispanic man of unknown age, name, residence and employment, who gave the name "Raul Arias" among others, was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of East William Street on felony suspicion of committing fraudulent acts, use of a false identification to obtain goods, possession of stolen property, forgery and gross misdemeanor suspicion of possession of a forged instrument. Bail was set at $28,000.


-- A Hispanic woman of unknown age, name, residence and employment, who gave the name "Lucia Mendez" among others, was arrested at 5:48 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of East William Street on felony suspicion of committing fraudulent acts, use of a false identification to obtain goods, possession of stolen property, forgery and gross misdemeanor suspicion of possession of a forged instrument. Bail was set at $28,000.
