A memorial service for Eric Eisele, 38, of Carson City, a Carson Valley-area resident for the past 16 years, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
Mr. Eisele died Dec. 26, 2003, in Douglas County. He was born July 20, 1965, in Santa Cruz, Calif., to Donald D. and Darlene Howard Eisele.
Mr. Eisele began working for F&B Inc. in 1998 at Stateline, operating all types of heavy equipment from loaders to excavators and running snow-removal equipment in the winter around the Stateline and Kingsbury area.
He learned welding and mechanical work at a young age from his grandfather, Harold Howard. He enjoyed the outdoors and outdoor activities including fishing. He was very mechanical and enjoyed taking things apart and rebuilding them.
Among his survivors are his daughter, Sarah Taylor Eisele, and his parents, all of Gardnerville; sisters Sue Simms of San Ramon, Calif., and Linda Eisele of Carson City; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Marianne Eisele of Gardnerville; and several nieces and nephews.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
