Obituary for Dorothy E. Foxon

A private family service will be held for Dorothy E. Foxon, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 31 years.

Mrs. Foxon died Feb. 10, 2003, in Carson City. She was born June 26, 1918, in Maywood, Ill., to Otis Alan and Helen Geyser Barlow.

She attended high school in Illinois.

She married Robert Foxon in 1947 in Chicago.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Racine, Wis., and Newark, Calif.

Mrs. Foxon was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters.

Among her survivors are her children Robert Gary Foxon and Donna D. Wilson, both of Carson City, and Darlene Winifred Bogusch of Atascadero, Calif.; brother, Robert Barlow of San Jose, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, including Crystal J. Jackson and Dean Scott Reynolds, both of Carson City; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
