Norma L. Barlow

Norma L. Barlow, 85, a Carson City resident, passed away August 14, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois M. and B.F. Wilson Sr. and her brother B.F. Wilson Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John W. Barlow Sr. of Carson City; her five children Patricia Sue (Everett) Tedder, Bonnie May Barlow, Betsy E. (Reid) Johnson, John W. Barlow Jr. and James Wilson (Laura) Barlow; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, as well as many cousins.

Norma was born in Kansas City, Mo. where she grew up and was educated. She and her husband lived for 50 years in Los Altos Hills, Calif. where she was active in many social and community events. She was an avid bridge player, golfer and amateur pilot. After retirement, they moved to Carson City.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church of Carson City, NW corner of Division at Musser. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for arrangements.
