The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- A 20-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:07 a.m. Saturday at the Goni water tower on misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of possession of marijuana. A cash-only bail was set at $705.


-- A 39-year-old fence worker from Dayton was arrested at 8:55 a.m. Saturday at fire station two on a misdemeanor warrant for embezzlement and on a misdemeanor warrant for engaging in business without a license. He was placed on a hold transfer.


-- Samuel Scott Bower, a 37-year-old Carson City framer, was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East on two felony charges of burglary, felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor suspicion of possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $53,205.


-- Kellie Rene Weddell, a 32-year-old Carson City sales representative, was arrested at 4 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of Arrowhead Drive on a felony warrant out of Sparks Justice Court for suspicion of fraud. A bondable bail was set at $1,500.


-- Martha Jean Clark, a 24-year-old unemployed Carson City woman, was arrested at 12:40 p.m. Friday on the corner of Curry and Sixth Streets on felony suspicion of insufficient funds. Bail was set at $7,500.


-- A 21-year-old construction assistant was arrested at 8:11 a.m. Friday in the 3100 block of Desatoya Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of obstructing/delaying an officer and first-offense domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,485.
