The following man and woman were booked into the Carson City Jail on Tuesday. Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
-- Linda Joyce Eldridge, 38, a clerk from Sparks, was arrested at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony embezzlement and probation violation. Bail was set at $10,000.
-- Christopher Burnett, 19, a house painter from Carson City, was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor destruction of evidence and possession of dangerous weapon, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. His bail was set at $11,170.
