Welcome, Carson City, to 2003! It is a little quiet, but I am sure that as we get going, all our wonderful organizations and clubs will keep us very busy.
I was talking to Diane McCoy from the Boys & Girls Club. She said if any families are having their children clean bedrooms or closets, removing the old to move in the new, she would be glad to have the items listed here to help Boys & Girls Club attendees.
The Carson City School District will also have a coat drive and distribute them on site at each school and the Boys & Girls Club to help students in need of warmer jackets. Thank you all for your help -- it is so nice to live in such a caring community.

In fact, I would like to hear from the new Douglas County Family Resource Center. So thank you for letting everyone know this column is here to help all the organizations and clubs.
