Starr died Jan. 20, 2003 in Mound House. He was born May 10, 1956 in Independence, Mo., to Herbert and Mattie Rose Ethington Starr. He was 46.
Mr. Starr enjoyed riding motorcycles and donated his time to helping children and in the babyland section of Lone Mountain Cemetery.
Mr. Starr lived in the area for the past 20 years, coming from Missouri. He was an auto mechanic.
Among his survivors are: brothers Stanley Starr and Tony Starr, both of Gardnerville, Fred Starr of Las Vegas and Dennis Johnson of Texas; sisters Rosetta Dodd and Geri Bobbitt both of Carson City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
FitzHenry's Crematory is in charge of cremation. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
