Silver Lake is located about 60 miles south of Carson City, via a combination of U.S. 395, Nevada S.R. 88 and California S.R. 88.
The derby will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The registration fee is $10 for those over 12 years of age, and $5 for those under 12.
Children under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license.
To fish, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a licensed adult.
There will be prizes for both adults and children.
