The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
-- A 21-year-old Carson City saleswoman was arrested at 3 a.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of South Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane while driving. Bail was set at $1,185.
-- A 42-year-old Gardnerville construction worker was arrested at 11:47 p.m. Friday in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of second-offense driving under the influence and failure to maintain lane while driving. Bail was set at $2,685.
-- A 25-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 5:03 p.m. Friday on the corner of William and Carson streets on misdemeanor suspicion of speeding and first-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,205.
-- Ernesto Ortiz, a 23-year-old Carson City construction worker, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. Friday on the corner of Tiger Drive and Hot Springs Road on felony suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor suspicion of reckless driving, driving with no proof of insurance, driving with a suspended drivers license, open container and second-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $5,840.
-- A 51-year-old, unemployed transient was arrested at 1:13 p.m. Friday at Mills Park on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in court on a petty larceny charge. A cash-only bail was set at $430.
