The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:


-- A 26-year-old Carson City chef was arrested at 7:48 p.m. Friday at the corner of Roop and Fairview Streets on misdemeanor suspicion of speeding, driving with a suspended driver's license and failure to appear in court on a traffic violation. Cash-only bail was set at $1,149.


-- Delbert Paul Simpson, 21, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 5:30 a.m. Saturday at the corner of Highway 50 and Airport Road on felony suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and felony suspicion of robbery. Bail was set at $60,000.


-- A 31-year-old tree trimmer from Carson City was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on Saturday on the 1500 block of Como Street on misdemeanor suspicion of failure to appear on two warrants. Bail was set at $2,200.


-- A 30-year-old painter from Reno was arrested at 2:34 a.m. on Saturday at the corners of College Parkway and Goni Road for misdemeanor suspicion of speeding, driving with no license and first offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,325.


-- A 30-year-old unemployed transient from Carson City was arrested at 1:11 a.m. on Saturday on the 300 block of Woodside Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with no valid driver's license, failure to maintain a single lane and failure to stop at a stop sign. Bail was set at $1,425.


-- A 28-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at 6:44 p.m. on Friday in the 3100 block of Airport Road on two misdemeanor warrants. A cash-only bail was set at $2,410.


-- Dwight Bradley Heinz, 44, and electrician from Washoe Valley, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on felony suspicion of insufficient funds and obtaining goods/services/money under false pretenses. Bail was set at $20,000.


-- A 51-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 1:48 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of East Williams on misdemeanor suspicion of first offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1,105.


-- A 50-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 11:44 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Feischman Street and picked up for civil protective custody. No bail was set.
