Sheriff's blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:

- A 34-year-old unemployed female transient was arrested at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in court on a domestic battery charge. A cash-only bail was set at $3,000.

- Steve Jeffrey Kelley, a 33-year-old Dayton resident and co-owner of a Carson City convenience store, was arrested at 5:28 p.m. Tuesday at the Winner's Corner in the 1300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, ex-felon possession of a firearm and misdemeanor obstructing an officer. Bail was set at $40,407.

- Scott James Kelley, a 32-year-old Dayton resident and co-owner of a Carson City convenience store, was arrested at 5:38 p.m. Tuesday at the Winner's Corner in the 1300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon. Bail was set at $20,000.

- A 46-year-old unemployed female transient was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday on the corner of Plaza and Washington streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken pedestrian. Bail was set at $67.

- A 25-year-old Carson City man on disability was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of East William Street on petty larceny. Bail was set at $347.

- A 32-year-old Carson City frozen-foods manager was arrested at 2:43 p.m. Tuesday on the corner of Graves and Sherman lanes on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense driving under the influence, following too closely and open container. Bail was set at $2,961.

- A 40-year-old Carson City loan officer was arrested at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Highland Street on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $780.

- Robert John Machado, a 40-year-old unemployed man of unknown residence, was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson Nugget Casino on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetemines, misdemeanor resisting an officer and trespassing. Bail was set at $400.

- A 44-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of West Caroline Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to appear in court on a traffic violation and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $340.
