Lt. Col. Milton Grossi, U.S. Army, Ret., 76, a Carson City resident for the past 15 years, died July 2, 2003, at home. He was born July 25, 1926, in San Jose, Calif., to Spiro A. and Anka Matutinovich Grossi.
He graduated from high school in July 1948, and completed all but two classes for a bachelor of science degree in management.
He married Shirley A. Archibald on Jan. 9, 1954, in Alexandria, Va.
Mr. Grossi retired from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
He owned Community Realty in Thousand Oaks, Calif., for 20 years. He was president of the Conejo Valley Board of Realtors from 1978-80, and was a member of the Military Officers Association.
Among his survivors are his wife of 49 years; son, Michael of Arizona; daughter, Debra Wright of Colorado; and four grandchildren.
At his request, no service will be held.
Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
