William T. Grossi, 83, a two-year Hawthorne resident, died March 31, 2006, at Evergreen Care Center.
Mr. Grossi was born June 5, 1922, in Lompoc, Calif., to Henry Grossi and Elizabeth Benamitta.
Before moving to Hawthorne, he lived in Payson, Ariz.
Mr. Grossi was a traffic manager in the mining industry and enjoyed hunting, fishing and prospecting.
He was Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Waldo, Walter and Wallace Grossi; and sisters Virginia Grossini and Edna Grossi.
Among his survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law William C. and Angie Grossi of Carson City, and Daniel J. and Beverly Grossi of Lompoc, Calif.; sister Venice Dentamanti, of Lompoc, Calif.; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
