Sheriff's blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

-- Steve Marc Chan, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of North Peters Street on a Carson City District Court warrant for suspicion of felony attempted theft. No bail was set.

-- Carlos Ramirez, 31, a stone worker from Carson City, was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Sunday at Lompa Lane and Highway 50 East on two failure-to-appear warrants on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. No bail was set.
