A graveside service for Conrad Edward Bluhm, 71, a Yerington resident for the past 17 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley with military honors.
Mr. Bluhm died July 11, 2003, at South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington. He was born Aug. 9, 1931, in Irvington, N.J., to George and Evelyn Cheshire Bluhm.
He served in the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years and then worked for the Los Angeles Fire Department, from which he retired. He worked as a photographer for both the Navy and the fire department.
Among his survivors are his wife of 50 years Bessie of Yerington; two half brothers and his stepmother.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
