Sheriff's Blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- A 40-year-old Carson City construction worker was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on misdemeanor suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $310.

-- Crystal Moreno, a 20-year-old, unemployed Minden woman, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday on the corner of Roop and Fifth streets on felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a non-valid driver's license and driving with an expired registration. Bail was set at $3,815.

-- An 18-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday on the corner of Roop and Fifth streets on misdemeanor suspicion of obstructing an officer/resisting arrest. Bail was set at $380.

-- A 36-year-old Carson City waitress was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Fifth Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Hawthorne for failure to pay fines. A cash-only bail was set at $1,010.

-- A 24-year-old Carson City employee of a cleaners was arrested at 2:25 p.m. Monday at the Carson City Sheriff's Department in the 900 block of East Musser Street on a misdemeanor warrant for criminal contempt. A bail was set at $1,000.

-- A 25-year-old, unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 6 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of South Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant for criminal contempt. A cash-only bail was set at $390.

-- Ardith Cook, an unemployed 38-year-old Carson City woman, was arrested at 9:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 1800 block of N. Carson Street on a felony warrant for being a fugitive from justice. She was placed on a no-bail hold.

-- A 26-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 6:15 p.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on misdemeanor suspicion of petty larceny and failure to pay fines. A cash-only bail was set at $870.

-- A 30-year-old Carson City pharmacy technician was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt. A cash-only bail was set at $1,450.
