A memorial service for Shirley D. Dilk, 64, a Dayton resident for the past 24 years and former Carson City resident, will be at 1 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.
Mrs. Dilk died July 18, 2003, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital in Sparks. She was born May 11, 1939, in Lubbock, Texas, to Loyd and Mabel Cain Bradshaw.
She graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland, Calif., in 1957.
Before moving to this area, she lived in Fremont, Calif.
Mrs. Dilk was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her mother in 1987 and brother, Glen Bradshaw in 1974.
Among her survivors are her husband, Jim T. of Dayton; sons Robert Ponnequin of Roseville, Calif., and Anthony Dilk of Sparks; daughter, Melanie LaBerteaux of Graham, Wash.; brothers Marvin Bradshaw of Fremont and Jakie Bradshaw of Modesto, Calif.; grandchildren Kristoffer and Jason Ponnequin, Kyle and Corey LaBerteaux and Kurt Dilk; and sister, Myrna Lum of Fremont.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
