A memorial service for Geraldine E. Selover, 60, a Carson City resident for more than 30 years, will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Selover died Feb. 25, 2003, at Stanford University Hospital, Palo Alto, Calif. She was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Riverside, Calif., to Michael and Juanita Hinton Vichkon.
She graduated from high school in Weaverville, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Weaverville and Santa Barbara, Calif.
Mrs. Selover was a secretary for the Nevada Legislature. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carson City.
Among her survivors are: daughters and sons-in-law Charise and Gregory Whitt of Carson City and Shannon and Kevin Williams of Sacramento; sisters Mary Martinez of Santa Barbara and Barbara Briggs of Anderson, Calif.; and grandchildren Adam and Avery Whitt of Carson City.
