Ramona "Moe" Lamb McNeill, 64, a Carson City resident for the past 61 years, died March 9 at her home. A celebration of life is planned for a later date. Friends may call the family for details.
She was born July 16, 1938, in Boulder, Colo., to Forrest and Anna Lamb.
She attended Carson City schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating in 1957.
She married Jim McNeill on June 4, 1978, in Carson City.
Mrs. McNeill was a key punch supervisor for the Department of Motor Vehicles' Automation Division and a programmer for the Nevada Army National Guard.
She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren; pets and feeding hummingbirds.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1987 and her mother in 1995.
Among her survivors are her husband; sons Aaron Arnold and Steve Getz of Carson City; stepson, James McNeill of Fernley; daughter, Lynette D. Krentz of Huntersville, N.C.; stepdaughter, Shanna Haigler of LaPine, Ore.; sister, Carolyn Gibson of Carson City; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be at the Neptune Society and inurnment at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
