Carolyn Ann Gibson, 70, a 64-year resident of Carson City, died Dec. 29, 2005.

A celebration of life is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Capitol City Gun Club, 3590 Arrowhead Drive. A potluck dinner will be served.

Mrs. Gibson was born May 30, 1935, in Boulder, Colo., to Forrest O. and Anna Mae Lamb.

She graduated from Carson High School in 1953. After graduation, she worked for the state of Nevada Highway Department in data processing.

A life member of the Capitol City Gun Club, she enjoyed trapshooting, hunting, gardening, cross stitch and deep-line trolling for mackinaw trout.

Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ramona McNeill.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, L. Robert Gibson; son, Raymond Wayne Gibson of Carson City; and daughter, Karen Dava Parker of Carson City.

Inurnment will be at Walton's Carson Gardens Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
