Champion Motor Speedway will host its first-ever 250-lap "Soapy Sunday" GenX Enduro, along with the "DemoDaze" destruction derby on April 27.

Soapy Sunday, presented by the Nevada Appeal, will feature exciting enduro (1 and 2-man bomber-style race cars) racing action on a wet and soapy racetrack. Segment one will provide 125-laps in a counter clockwise (traditional) direction.

The racers will then receive a 15-minute pit stop as the water truck refreshes the 1/3-mile, high-banked asphalt oval with a fresh spray of soapy water. The GenX Enduros will then race for an additional 125-laps in a clockwise (reverse) direction.

The winning car will take home $1,000 in cash and a trophy presented by Ponderosa Stamp & Engraving.

The day of destruction will conclude with the DemoDaze destruction derby. The winner will also receive a trophy from Ponderosa Stamp & Engraving and $500 cash.

The pit gate opens at 11 a.m., front gates open at noon and the show starts at 2 p.m.
