The Carson Bulldogs youth wrestling club repeated as champions at the SWA Zone meet held this past weekend at Carson High.
Carson led all teams with 12 titles, nine second place finishers, 11 third place finishes. In all, 47 Bulldog wrestlers placed in the event.
Carson won with 196 points, followed by Fallon (92) in second, Douglas (45) in third and Reed (42) in fourth. Those who won titles for Carson were:
Robbie Bozin, Colby Brown, Owen Craugh, Nicolas Garcia, Jorge A. Gutierrez, Nicholas Lani, Ricky McDonald, Simon Paige, Kyle Sharp, Stephen Remer, Nolan Shine, Ahron Osheroff.
Those who took second were: Will Adler, Patrick Craugh, Nevin Elliott, Ben McDonald, Garrett Truesdell, Michael Ceccarelli, Joe Roman, Eric Aguilera, Micah Whitcome.
Those who took third were: Travis Brooks, Micah Chalk, Blake Davidson, Jorge Ariel Gutierrez, Todd Lani, Jordan Luhrs, Josh Martino, Willy McDonald, Max Schadeck, A.J. Winder, Jonas Schenzel.
Others who placed were: Austin Brown, fifth; Maria Gutierrez, fifth; Miriam Gutierrez, sixth; Sabian Harting, fourth; Brandon Maffei, sixth; Garrett Manoukian, fourth; Cole McCarthy, fifth; Brandon McCullen, fifth; Bryce McCullen, fifth; Brady O'Keefe, fourth; Anthony Pisani, fourth; Cody Reno, fourth; Noland Truesdell, sixth; David Nuebel, fourth, Chris Ceccarelli, fourth.
Carson's next tournament will be the Freestyle State Championships on Saturday and Sunday at North Valleys High.
