Obituary: Alice M. Tate

A funeral Mass for Alice M. Tate, 84, of Concord, Calif., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bonaventure's Church in Concord.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday, with a vigil service at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Tate died March 23, 2003.

She lived in South Lake Tahoe from 1961 to 1971, then in Carson City from 1971 to 1988.

Mrs. Tate was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; sons Jimmy and Kenny Tate; and sister Eveline Blurton.

Among her survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law Tullie and Jim Costa and Maura and Steve Zigler; son and daughter-in-law Bob and Janae Tate; brothers Sherman, Emil and Ron Olson; sister Joan Baker; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Happy Homestead Cemetery District in South Lake Tahoe.
