Obituary: Arnold Byram

A memorial service for Arnold Lee Byram, 88, a Carson City resident for the past 23 years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith.

Mr. Byram died May 23, 2003, at Mountainview Care Center. He was born Aug. 16, 1914, in Millwood, Wash., to Andrew and Myra Poe Byram.

He married Rose Walton October 1955, in Las Vegas.

He graduated from the University of Southern California.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Santa Monica, Calif.

Mr. Byram played semi-pro baseball for the Tacoma Tigers. He was a baseball fan. He was a Presbyterian.

Among his survivors are his daughter Shari Lieby, sister-in-law Dorothy Bishop and grandchildren Kenny, Heather and Kaylee, all of Carson City.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
