George Weston Arnold, a resident of Carson City for 16 years, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2007. He was 80 years old.
George was born in Crawford County, Pa. on March 3, 1927 to Raymond and Mary Arnold.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan; three children, JoAnn Rolling of Johnson City, Tenn., Eileen Jouthas of Lafayette, Calif., and John Arnold of Louisville, Ky.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and his two sisters Pat Peabody of Fredonia, NY and Sandy Maio of Martinez , Ga.
George was a Veteran of WWII and worked in the food service industry. He was an amateur photographer and enjoyed gambling, gardening, fly fishing, golfing, reading, watching Oakland A's baseball, his family and his dogs.
A celebration of Georges' life will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at 1 p.m. at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
