Esta Faye Wickstrom, 93, a Carson City resident for the past month, died Nov. 8, 2003, at home.
She was born Oct. 6, 1910, in Percy, Iowa, to John Cecil and Sarah E. Gregory.
She married Joel W. Wickstrom Sept. 8, 1938, in Princeton, Mo. He preceded her in death Dec. 4, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Valley View Village Retirement Home in Des Moines for 10 years.
Mrs. Wickstrom was an accounting clerk for the state of Iowa for 35 years. She was a member of the Highland Park Christian Church. She was a lifetime member of Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary, all in Des Moines.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Tom Keeton of Carson City; grandchildren Susan Wilcox of Olympia, Wash., and Bruce Keeton of Carson City; and great-grandchildren Rebekah Gross of Olympia and Marine Pfc. Jason Gross of Camp Lejeune, N.C.
A family celebration of life was held.

Capitol City Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
