Johnny W. Kreger, 76, a Carson City resident for the past 13 years, died April 21, 2004, at home. He was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Oklahoma to Howard and Neva Hopkins Kreger.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in San Jose, Calif.
Mr. Kreger enjoyed karaoke and fishing.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Among his survivors are his daughters and sons-in-law Cheryl and Rick Trice and Janet and Tim Howard, all of Carson City; son, Johnny Wayne of Orting, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be at a later date.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
