Annabelle June Serafine, 75, a Gardnerville resident for the past 10 years, died April 21, 2004, at her home.
Born March 4, 1929, in Wellsburg, W.V., to Walker and Elizabeth Wood Buchanan, she married Charles Serafine on April 21, 1946 in Wellsburg.
Mrs. Serafine enjoyed sewing, decorating and fashion.
She came to Gardnerville from Arroyo Grande, Calif. She was a Methodist.
Mrs. Serafine was preceded in death by brother Horley Buchanan.
Among her survivors are her husband of Gardnerville; sons Charles of Gardnerville and Howard of Carson City; daughter Pamela Serafine of Arroyo Grande; brother Howard Buchanan of Fruitland, Fla.; sisters Maxine Dieserio of Wellsburg, W.V., and Ruth Doyle of Wheeling, W.V.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory. FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established with the Barton Hospital Foundation, Hospice Fund, P.O. Box 7316, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96158.
