The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• Carlos Garcia Amador, 23, also known as Raymundo Amador Amar, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a stolen property, a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of stolen property and misdemeanor battery. No bail was set.


• A 38-year-old machinist from Carson City was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


• Jose Garcia-Garcia, 34, of Carson City was arrested at 12:28 p.m. Thursday at Airport Road and Menlo Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, misdemeanor no insurance and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $3,339.


• A 48-year-old timber worker from Minden was arrested at 1:35 a.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. He was allegedly caught on casino surveillance tape shaking his wife in her wheelchair. Bail was set at $3,132.


-- Deputies responded to the following calls:


• A man allegedly coming down off of methamphetamine cut his arm with a razor in the 900 block of South Carson Street on Thursday at 5:58 a.m.


• A stereo was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3200 block of Arrowhead Drive sometime Wednesday between noon and 5 p.m.


• A stereo was stolen from a vehicle sometime Tuesday night in the 800 block of South Roop Street.


• Items were missing Tuesday from an upstairs bedroom in a home in the 3500 block of Dartmouth Drive.
