Carson High graduate Katie Kotter and the Northwest Nazarene University women's basketball team are off to a 4-2 start on the season.
Kotter, a 2004 CHS graduate, is a freshman for the Division II school in Nampa, Idaho. Kotter has played in all six games and is averaging 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9.3 minutes a game. She has also hit 9-of-9 free throws.
The Crusaders will play this weekend in a tournament at Cal State Bakersfield in Bakersfield, Calif. The Crusaders will play Cal Poly Pomona at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Cal State Bakersfield at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
