Carson High graduate Kaitlin Leck and the University of Washington volleyball team have punched their ticket for the NCAA Volleyball Tournament Final Four.
And Leck will see a familiar face when she arrives for the NCAA semifinals. Washington advanced to the semifinals with a 27-30, 330-19, 30-28, 24-30, 15-9 win over UCLA on Saturday at home.
The Huskies will face Stanford on Thursday in the semifinals. Stanford features Fallon graduate Jennifer Hucke.
The winner of the match will face the winner between USC and Minnesota for the NCAA title this Saturday.
Leck, a 2001 CHS graduate and a senior, had nine kills and three blocks against UCLA. The match will be televised taped-delayed at 10:30 a.m. today on FSN Northwest. Dish Network subscribers receive FSN Northwest on Channel 426.
