Jaggard, Christen are honored

Douglas High graduates Jenny Jaggard and Brit Christen have been honored by the Golden Valley Conference in women's soccer for Lassen College in Susanville, Calif.

Jaggard, a freshman, was named to the first team and has also been nominated for All-American consideration. Christen, a sophomore, was named to the all-conference second team.

Lassen, which has dominated the conference since its inception, going 34-0 in conference play, had the most players named to the all-conference team. Lassen had eight players named to the all-conference first and second teams, including five from Nevada.
